ABOUT CHOOSE KIND FOUNDATION
My name is Taylor Jmaeff. In November 2019, I started raising money through a go-fund-me fundraiser I named Choose Kind. Choose Kind was created to help raise mental health awareness and money to provide for youth in the Langley School District that would go towards providing support of various types. On October 16th, 2021, I decided to chase my dream and start working on becoming a Non-profit charity called The Choose Kind Foundation. With an endless need for mental health support in school districts, I am confident we can make a difference together through fundraising and acts of kindness.

TAYLOR JMAEFF
Founder
I started the Choose Kind foundation because I believe that I am the outlet that people need to provide help for kids and to find and provide the support needed. I want to be able to provide experiences and support that spike as much dopamine in youth as possible while making it known that they are loved. I work as an education assistant and I see the need every single day for more mental health support in our schools with not nearly enough funding. Based on my own experiences, I understand some of the feelings youth may be going through in regards to struggling with mental health and having no control over their situations and would like to give the option for as much support and happiness as possible.
TYLER HAZELWOOD
Director & Event coordinator
Tyler has been with us since the summer of 2022, he is one of our support team members and has played a critical role in growing our foundation and executing projects. Along with his calm energy and endless support, He brings years of experience with hosting events, planning, and creative thinking to helping Choose Kind Foundation to grow and make a measurable impact.
VOLENTEERS
CHOOSE KIND HAS A SOLID CORE OF VOLUNTEERS THAT HELP OUR YEAR-ROUND WITH OUR EVENTS. FROM HELPING RUN 50/50, GAMES, MC FOR EVENTS, BIKE/CAR WASHING AND HELPING IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE TO ENSURE OUR EVENTS RUN SMOOTHLY. WE COULD NOT DO IT WITHOUT THEIR CONTINUOUS SUPPORT
